I think this will work great, but I'm a little disappointed because I didn't notice the inside usable dimensions as compared to the overall dimensions. The main die I want to use is too big and I'll have to do three vertically punches instead of being able to do one punch with it placed horizontally.Plan to spend an hour setting this up. There aren't instructions and it was pretty tricky. I recommend tightening the very bottom bolts first, then the inside two that attach to the spring mechanism, then the main ones on the side to adjust the height. It look some practice and eyeballing but this will work great.I do also wish that the pressure pad was the same size as the usable space. It means you have even less space to work with than you realize. Double check all the measurements to make sure they will work for you, but this is a great tool and so much easier than hammering the dies and/or cutting out your leather and vinyl by hand. ...See more See less

I am a hobbyist leather crafter and wanted to speed up the cutting of leather by hand. I didn't feel like spending 3,000 + on a power clicker so I got this one. I use it to punch 3 pieces of leather at a time (2-3 oz) veg tan or upholstery leather. plenty of pressing power to do that trick.No more hand cutting based on paper designs - this hand punch press saves tons of time.buy the dyes or have them made this device just works.p.s. its heavy ! and a good value. ...See more See less
